Training and Special Projects for the Delivery of Quality Early
Childhood and Development Services in San Diego County

YMCA Childcare Resource Service offers a wide variety of education and training opportunities for early childhood professionals, parents and teachers. Attendance and participation in these education programs may count towards the SD CARES School-Readiness Training hours.

We encourage you to continue your professional development through the classes and training programs we offer, as well as through conferences and college programs. Child care providers and others wishing to enroll in trainings through this website are encouraged to call the contact person listed to verify times, dates, fee, and credit hours before registering for the training. Most trainings requie pre-registration.

    Project MENTOR (Meeting Education Needs Through Outreach) is a free training program, which provides on-site professional support to early childhood educators with the goal of increasing the school readiness of children
